Reflection
on Pathfinder:
This is the first Pathfinder exercise I have done. So this assignment made me
aware of what a Pathfinder is and allowed me to apply what I had learned through
my readings by creating a Pathfinder. In my Ed. Psy. class I got a lot of
practice at evaluating websites for their quality and usefulness, so that part
of the Pathfinder assignment I was familiar with. This seems to be a great tool
for teachers to share their favorite websites and organize them into a theme
that other teachers can use. I’m excited to see everyone else’s! The assignment
gave me more practice at searching the internet. The new word I learned from
this is “Boolean.” I’m still not for sure how I’m suppose to pronounce it, but I
did not know what that word meant until this activity. I love learning new
words!! I think what I have enjoyed most about this assignment and the entire
class is that everything is ORGANIZED. Organization is great, it makes my world
a much better place.
